The Ultrasonic Testing Phased Array (UTPA) level II course provides the knowledge required to operate phased array equipment and perform manual & encoded phased array testing on welds. The course covers theoretical aspects on phased array application, advantages, limitations and application of phased array as per various codes and standards. The course also covers in depth practical aspects for application of Phased Array on welds in Pipes & Plates using required accessories such as calibration blocks, encoders, scanners etc. The course structure is compiled based on ASNT/GEN Appendix E9.1 (Click this link to view this document www.bindt.org/downloads/E9.pdf )
