Course Description
Magnetic particle testing (MT) level II course provides the knowledge required to understand the method, operate the equipment and perform testing. The course structure is compiled based ASNT’s document SNTTC-1A.

- Advantages and limitations of MT
- Codes / Standards requirements as per ASTM, ASME, AWS & BS etc.
- Familiarization of the equipment
- Operating the equipment and current requirements
- Longitudinal and circular magnetization
- Perform testing on products
- Interpreting and evaluating the test data
- Preparation of the reports

4 Days (40 hours) of training and examination.
Who Should Attend
Technicians, Inspectors, QA / QC Engineers etc. aspiring to acquire the proficiency and knowledge in MT.
Certification – ASNT – Level II certificate will be issued by Modfield upon successful completion of examination based on employer’s written practice.
