Radiographic Interpretation (RI) Level II
Course Description
Radiographic testing level II course provides the knowledge required to understand the method, operate the Gamma Ray and X-ray equipment, interpretation of radiographs. The course structure is compiled based on ASNT’s document SNT-TC-1A.

- RT theory and its applications
- Advantages and limitations of RT
- Codes / Standards requirements as per ASTM, ASME, API, AWS & BS etc
- Familiarization of equipment
- Exposure techniques and exposure calculations
- Selection of IQI and geometric requirements.
- Film Processing and dark room practices
- Radiation safety
- Detailed Interpreting and evaluating the radiographs
- Preparation of the reports
Course Duration
6 Days (56 hours) of training and 1 day examination
Who Should Attend
Technicians, Inspectors, QA / QC Engineers etc. aspiring to acquire the proficiency and knowledge in RT.
Certification – (ASNT ) Level II certificate will be issued by Modfield upon successful completion of examination based on employer’s written practice
